JIBE REVERSAL

JIBE REVERSAL

Postby usa1971 » Mon Nov 23, 2009 11:18 am

In Bill Gladstone's NorthU Tactics book, there is a chapter on match racing written by Peter Isler. In it, he describes something called reversing on port (or a jibe reversal). It is something that the starboard boat does when the port boat crosses it initially and the starboard boat does not want to commence circling. Peter describes this, but there are no illustrations, and I can't get my head around it. Anyone?
