Postby Dan McNamara » Mon May 03, 2010 6:24 pm

Richardson Qualifier is to determent who will represent LSYA in Chicago this fall. This will only happen if there are 4 or more teams interested in participating. We have several dates reserved, most likely it will be on a Saturday with local Umpires. If you are interested participating, helping or have suggestions please reply to this post.

LSYA RTQ Update:
AS of this time and date it is known that Lars Hansen with not be a skipper of challenge this year for the 2010 Richardson Trophy Regatta at CMRC. In his place John Peterson and a team including John Noller will be putting together a challenge. So far all Lake Associations will be sending at least one team. As of this date there are a total of ten of the possible twelve teams that will challenge the defender, Chris VanTol from Bayview Yacht Club of DRYA. As a switch up, Chris will represent ILYA this year in his defense of the Richardson Trophy Oct. 8-10th. Please keep in mind that the deadline for each Lake Association to submit teams is September 8th. Thereafter, the Richardson OA will fill any open slots via standards set by the NoR. Please consult and understand this process to obtain an invitiation and possible chance to challenge this year's Richardson Trophy at CMRC.
