| Presented by David Pelling (International Umpire/ International Judge) and his officiating team that are here for the Richardson Trophy Championships. Dave has been umpiring match racing since 1991 and has been an IU and IJ since 1995. David has umpired many Grade 1, America's Cup, Swedish Match and World Match Racing Tour events and was on the umpiring team for the 1999/2000, 2003/2003 and 2005/2007 Louis Vuitton Cups. He was chief judge at CORK from 1997 until 2007 and has been either chief judge or on the panel of numerous international juries over the last fifteen years. It was our pleasure to have had David as our chief umpire for last year's Richardson Trophy Regatta at WYC. Adding to this seminar, is the equally qualified Donald Becker, hailing from Corona del Mar, Dana Point southern California. | |||||||||||||||

The Seminar is for those interested in learning about Match Racing, boat to boat tactics, Racing Rules of Sailing and how to use them to control another boat and avoid being controlled. Match racing tactics are very helpful in any boat to boat situation in fleet and team racing, especially starts, crossings, mark rounding's and finishes. This is your opportunity to learn from International Umpire and Judges and benefit from their experiences at the highest level of competitive sailing. |
